Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) mechanism of zeolite powder, as for the fabrication of separation membrane, has been investigated under applied constant voltages. Zeolite (A-4) - n-propanol suspension is used as EPD bath. Potential gradient in the n-propanol depended on the distance of electrodes and applied voltages. The resistibility of EPD bath had decreased by dispersing zeolite powder. It means that the dispersed zeolite particle becomes charged. On the other hands, variation of potential gradient in the bulk EPD bath was very small with the progress of EPD. It means that the deposition layer containing n-propanol had low resistively and velocity of zeolite particle is not changed. Therefore, the amount of zeolite powder deposit increased linearly against of deposition time and applied voltage.
